Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 28 June 1986. Kennedy describes her early life in Ogden, Utah as an Afro-American. She talks about her conversion to the Mormon Church and its influence on her life and comments on the experiences of other black Mormons.
